Local Voices: Author Spotlight Series with Pat Gibson In-Person
We’re starting a Local Voices: Author Spotlight Series to spotlight one local author each month. This program will provide a space for authors to share their journeys, sell their books, and connect with both readers and fellow writers.
-Each monthly event will feature:
-A booth for the spotlight author to showcase and sell their work
-A casual discussion about the author’s writing, editing, and publishing experiences
-An opportunity for aspiring and established authors to ask questions and support one another
-Our goal is to build a supportive community of local writers and readers.
This month's featured author is Pat Gibson:
Pat Gibson has lived in Dripping Sprins above Sulfur Creek for over 55 years. She has been a writer since she learned to read at age four. Over the years she has created poetry, written for newspapers, computer software training manuals, peer reviewed journals, and finally, now fiction. The first two novels of the series are available on Amazon. She has been a mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother, driven a school bus, worked in a print shop, and taught adult learners at Texas State University for over 20 years.
