Adult Art Studio with Dripping Springs Art League with Jennifer Friedman Introduction to Needle Felting In-Person
Fiber & Flow: Introduction to Needle Felting
Step into a calm, creative space and discover the art of needle felting—a tactile, meditative process that lets you "paint" with wool. This is a technique that can be used to darn holes in socks and sweaters, or felt onto a tote bag, scarf, hat, or home decor.
In this hands-on beginner workshop, you'll learn how to layer colorful fibers onto a flat surface and sculpt them into beautiful, textured artwork using simple felting tools. No experience necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down, play with color, and let the process unfold.
What to expect:
✨ Step-by-step guidance from DSAL art instructor Jennifer Friedman
✨ All materials included (felting needles, wool roving, foam pads, and fabric base)
✨ A meditative, low-pressure atmosphere perfect for makers of all levels
Perfect for: anyone curious about fiber arts, looking for a new creative outlet, or craving something tactile, colorful, and calming.
